Information

The Pan-Atlantic provinces, working jointly with Food and Beverage Atlantic, are seeking Atlantic Canadian seafood companies to attend the Conxemar Frozen Seafood Exhibition in Vigo, Spain October 1-3, 2024. 

The Conxemar trade show takes place in Vigo, Spain, an important fishing port in Europe, and serves as the meeting point for the entire processing sector including wholesalers, importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, cold storage, and machinery. Spain is an important market for Canadian fish and seafood exporters. It remains one of the largest food markets in Europe and has the potential for future growth as highly educated Spanish consumers are oriented towards high‚Äźquality products.

Key Elements of the Mission include: 

  • The Atlantic Provinces have secured an open-concept pavilion with shared booth spaces that will house approximately 8 Atlantic Canadian companies.
  • A walker program is being offered for Atlantic Canadian companies who do not wish to exhibit.
  • Food and Beverage Atlantic will coordinate all pavilion details including furnishing, graphics, and signage.
  • Exhibitors and Walkers are responsible for all travel arrangements and travel costs.

Exhibitor details: 

The fee to co-exhibit is $2,500.00. 

The registration fee for co-exhibitors will include the following:

  • Access to the show (2 individuals per company)
  • A targeted minimum of eight B2B meetings arranged by the in-market consultant.
  • Co-exhibitor space in shared open concept booth with the other Atlantic Canadian companies.
  • Use of the meeting space/tables in the Canadian pavilion.
  • Networking opportunities with Conxemar delegates as well as other Canadian companies participating in the mission.
  • Onsite Chef who will prepare samples for co-exhibitors (pending funding approvals).
  • Up to $500 reimbursement allowance towards shipping of samples.¬†

Walker program details:

The fee to attend the Walker program is $1,000.

The registration fee for walkers will include the following:

  • Access to the show¬†(2 individuals per company)
  • A targeted minimum of three B2B meetings to be arranged for the company via the in-market consultant.
  • Networking opportunities with Conxemar delegates as well as other Canadian companies participating in the mission.
