Food & Beverage Atlantic
A message from your Association Executive Director:
Since joining the FBA team in 2019, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a passionate board of directors and a dedicated team—each of us deeply committed to strengthening Atlantic Canada’s food and beverage processing sector.
Over the past few years, we’ve focused on building a more agile, efficient, and impactful organization. We’ve brought key services in-house, expanded our team, and launched programs designed specifically to meet the evolving needs of processors across the region.
Our efforts are grounded in delivering high-value, relevant programming, addressing critical industry gaps, and helping businesses thrive in a dynamic and competitive marketplace.
We’re proud to have cultivated strong partnerships both regionally and nationally—connecting our members with the resources, expertise, and opportunities they need to grow, compete, and succeed.
FBA continues to serve as a vital connector for Atlantic Canada’s food and beverage manufacturing and processing community. Whether it’s business growth, export development, industry insights, training, retail readiness, or market expansion—we’re here to support our members at every stage.
I’m continually inspired by the resilience, innovation, and collaboration that define this industry. Together, we’re building a more connected, future-ready food and beverage ecosystem for Atlantic Canada.

Combined with her entrepreneurial background, this perspective provides a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing small businesses across Atlantic Canada.
Jacqui later joined Nova Scotia Community College as a faculty member in Business Administration before moving into Business Hospitality. In that role, she demonstrated innovative leadership by launching a first-of-its-kind diploma program delivered on-site at Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa, developed in close collaboration with industry partners.
