New Year’s President Message

On behalf of your Board of Directors at Food and Beverage Atlantic, we recognize that our industry continues to evolve, and I am sure that the coming year will bring more opportunities, challenges and excitement for our members. We appreciate you being part of the FBA community and look forward to supporting your business throughout the next twelve months.

 

We continue to work hard to understand the needs of our members and deliver programming, events and other initiatives to help your business grow. Tammy, Dwayne and Nancy have a wealth of knowledge and a sincere enthusiasm to see our members succeed.

 

We are looking forward to 2024 and the agenda we have before us as your Board of Directors. It is a privilege to work on behalf of our industry, and to support our members. We hope to keep the focus on the positive contributions the food and beverage industry makes to Atlantic Canada and beyond. Our vision is a better tomorrow through food, and we anticipate partnering with you to that end in 2024.

The Group Export Agri-Food is pleased to announce the opening of the 2024 Alizés Awards application period. The Alizés Awards celebrate the excellence of the work accomplished by Canadian agri-food companies that have distinguished themselves on international markets and are presented by FCC.

To be eligible, your company must:

  • be a Canadian agricultural or food processing company
  • have its main head office in Canada
  • market products that are mainly manufactured in Canada
  • have been in business for at least 3 years
  • be an active exporter outside Canada for at least 2 years
  • have annual sales of at least $1 million

 

Canadian agri-food companies are invited to visit the lesprixalizesawards.ca website to register and receive their application form for the Alizés Awards. Applications will close on February 28, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
