The Pan-Atlantic provinces, working jointly with Food and Beverage Atlantic, are seeking Atlantic Canadian seafood companies to attend the Conxemar Frozen Seafood Exhibition in Vigo, Spain October 1-3, 2024.
The Conxemar trade show takes place in Vigo, Spain, an important fishing port in Europe, and serves as the meeting point for the entire processing sector including wholesalers, importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, cold storage, and machinery. Spain is an important market for Canadian fish and seafood exporters. It remains one of the largest food markets in Europe and has the potential for future growth as highly educated Spanish consumers are oriented towards high‐quality products.

This exciting event on Canada’s East Coast will provide bakers with an introduction to the Baking Association of Canada, along with education sessions on the building blocks of baking.

Food Ventures Program – APPLY TODAY!
Have you applied yet for the Food Ventures program? This program provides financial support for the acceleration of innovative and safe Nova Scotia local products to market using Perennia’s food safety and product development services.
Nova Scotia registered farms and agri-food and beverage businesses can apply for cost-shared funding for Perennia services. The Food Ventures Program also provides technical support and educational resources.
NEW FOR 2024-25 Businesses with gross annual income between $1,500 and $15,000 are now eligible for Food Ventures Program funding to help them reach new markets. Please see the Program Guidelines for more information.
