This federal government program was improved to provide lenders and small businesses with additional financing products, new class of loans, and increased loan amounts and terms.
The CSBF program now provides access to loan financing for the establishment, expansion and improvement of small businesses of up to $1,150,000 which includes $150,000 for the new line of credit. Financing is available up to $500,000 for leasehold improvements and equipment of which $150,000 can now be used for intangible assets and working capital costs; and up to $1,000,000 for real property. CSBFP loans are subject to a 2% government registration fee that can be financed within the maximum allowable loan amount. This federal government program is delivered in all provinces and territories through a network of Financial Institutions including chartered banks, credit unions and caisses populaires. In order to obtain a loan, business owners must present their business plan directly to a financial institution. Decisions related to granting loans rest entirely with the lenders.

FOOD TAIPEI (Taipei International Food Show) will be held from June 26-29, 2024 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 & 2 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Joining the Canada Pavilion at FOOD TAIPEI provides you with an excellent opportunity to connect with new and established contacts in Taiwan. The Show is open for trade from June 26-28 and for consumers on the last day, June 29. Retail sales will be permitted on June 29 – a great way to transact business and to raise awareness and test products directly with consumers.
