Food and Beverage Atlantic (FBA) is collaborating with Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC) to offer a free virtual four-part learning series this February.

The learning series is right for you if you operate in the food and beverage sector and want to:

  • do business with the Government of Canada;
  • learn how to find the right opportunities;
  • build networks with federal buyers and other federal representatives involved in procurement for the food and beverage sector; and
  • register as a supplier and learn how to use the Government of Canada’s online tools.

June 26-29, 2024

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei (CTOT) invite you to showcase your products in the Canada Pavilion at FOOD TAIPEI, Taiwan’s largest international food and beverage show. FOOD TAIPEI (Taipei International Food Show) will be held from June 26-29, 2024 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 & 2 in Taipei, Taiwan.

 

Joining the Canada Pavilion at FOOD TAIPEI provides you with an excellent opportunity to connect with new and established contacts in Taiwan. The Show is open for trade from June 26-28 and for consumers on the last day, June 29. Retail sales will be permitted on June 29 – a great way to transact business and to raise awareness and test products directly with consumers.

The Group Export Agri-Food is pleased to announce the opening of the 2024 Alizés Awards application period. The Alizés Awards celebrate the excellence of the work accomplished by Canadian agri-food companies that have distinguished themselves on international markets and are presented by FCC.

To be eligible, your company must:

  • be a Canadian agricultural or food processing company
  • have its main head office in Canada
  • market products that are mainly manufactured in Canada
  • have been in business for at least 3 years
  • be an active exporter outside Canada for at least 2 years
  • have annual sales of at least $1 million

 

Canadian agri-food companies are invited to visit the lesprixalizesawards.ca website to register and receive their application form for the Alizés Awards. Applications will close on February 28, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

 CIAC2024: Agri-food is taking place February 26-27, 2024, at the Pan Pacific Singapore. It will convene leaders from the private sector, governments, universities, and other institutions from across Asia and Canada in agri-food and related sectors for two days of networking and inter-disciplinary discussion on some of the most pressing issues in the Canada-Asia agri-food space.
