Parle Parle Mange Mange is an exhibition that offers you the chance to connect with your community and local producers in the region.

The gathering event starts with a conference on the theme of collaborative economics, followed by a happy hour with local producers offering tasting bites.

Aquaculture Canada and WAS North America 2022

 

Preparations are ramping up for the WAS North America & Aquaculture Canada 2022 conference and trade show – the first joint World Aquaculture Society (WAS), Aquaculture Association of Canada (AAC) and NL Aquaculture Industry Association (NAIA) meeting, and the largest conference and trade show in over 20 years in Canada on the science, business and technology of aquaculture.

 

This meeting will be held in St. John’s, NL, Canada from August 15 – 18, 2022, and the theme of the conference is Aquaculture: The Leading Edge of Food Production. The programme sessions for the conference will be broad and topical, including those traditionally offered at WAS and AAC conferences, along with 36 special topics that are relevant, and timely.

Registration is now open to Canadian export ready companies in the Canada Pavilion at Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) 2022.

Food & Hotel Asia is the largest food and beverage show in South East Asia. In 2018, the show attracted 55,000 buyers and 3,500 exhibitors from 76 countries.

This year’s show will take place from September 5 to 8 in Singapore.

CAHRC Growing Opportunities Wage Subsidy – Summer Student Placements Still Available! 

As summer term begins  and agriculture producers ramp up activities across Canada, we are pleased to say that there are many placements still available under CAHRC’s Student Wage Subsidy Program. If you are planning to hire students for Summer or have already hired a student, apply now for funding!!

Funded by the Government of Canada through the Student Work Placement Program, Growing Opportunities offers registered Canadian businesses, startups, and not-for-profits related to the primary agriculture sector a subsidy on each qualifying student’s wages.

2022 Trade Mission to Jamaica and Miami

 

These multi-sector missions coordinated pan-Atlantic and the Center for Women in Business is open to both male and female delegates, and companies can elect to participate in both or only one of the markets.  While the mission will be a multi-sectorial mission, professional match-makers will be employed to individually customize a schedule of targeted business-to-business meetings, tailored to each participating company.

 

Join two separate information sessions profiling these in-person trade missions will take place this week.

  • Miami Info Session: Tuesday, May 17th, 11am – 12pm AST
  • Jamaica Info Session: Thursday, May 19th, 1pm – 2pm AST
