Recruitment Notice

Food and Beverage Atlantic, working jointly with the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island, is seeking Atlantic Canadian companies to attend SIAL Canada in Montreal, Quebec from April 20 to 22, 2022.

SIAL is North America’s biggest food-innovation tradeshow, bringing together equipment, technology, and food product in 3 key sectors: food and beverage, grocerant and packaging. SIAL Canada is the only national trade show that offers a complete range of food products under one roof to meet customers’ expectations. Buyers and decision makers across the whole industry, from grocery, wholesale and specialty retail to foodservice and manufacturing, will converge to uncover the hottest trends, latest product launches and the industry’s vision for the future.

SIAL 2022 is expected to host 25,000 visitors from Canada and 60+ other countries with key domestic and international buyers and importers ready to make purchasing decisions.

Mission features:

The goals of the mission are to showcase and promote the high-quality seafood, agri-food and beverage products from Atlantic Canada, to increase export opportunities for Atlantic Canadian companies, and to increase the number of Atlantic Canadian companies exporting outside the Atlantic Provinces.

The Atlantic Provinces have secured a large, open concept, shared booth space that will house 16 Atlantic Canadian companies.

  • Food and Beverage Atlantic will coordinate all pavilion details including furnishing, graphics, and signage.
  • Potential exhibitors are responsible for all travel arrangements. Food and Beverage Atlantic is currently looking into a block of hotel rooms in Montreal. More details to follow.

Hosted Buyers Programs:

SIAL Canada offers all its exhibitors the opportunity to take part in various buyers’ programs, free of charge. This allows exhibitors to meet high-level American, Canadian, and international buyers who’ve come to the show specifically to do business with them.

More information will be made available on the Hosted Buyer Programs and the educational conferences available during the SIAL in the New Year.
