Course Description: Witnessing trends of growing concern for food allergies as well as increased sensitivity of more educated consumers, we are pleased to offer this informative one day course designed to bring to your attention the complexity of the topic. Practicing food allergen awareness is one of the cornerstones of the modern food industry, the standard that must be in the center of attention at every food manufacturing facility. The major food incidents pertaining to food allergens are the result of human error that could be easily avoided. Mislabeling and virtually all related problems can be prevented along with preventing the unwanted and unnecessary incidents.

Rajko Platisa is an accomplished professional with 25+ years of diverse international experience ranging from government, NGO, and private-sector legal work to training, regulatory compliance and consulting.  As an independent consultant, he has developed and implemented quality, environmental and Food Safety Management systems.  Through his enrolment in design and facilitation of competency-based training programs, he has worked on multiple food safety and quality related trainings and is involved in design/redesign of similar training courses on behalf of certified training centres in North America.
