Ensure that it will stay financially viable by maintaining very tight cost controls.
Ensure that all activities carried out fit within the objectives of the organization and make a positive financial contribution to it, in other words stay focused.
Maintain and expand the educational opportunities it provides to the industry.
Support partnering and cooperation among the processors.
Always provide the highest level of service that it can afford to its members and to other interest groups.
Recognize that people are key to a successful food processing industry and therefore focus on developing this current and future people resource.
